When I freeze hot dogs, I wrap two hot dogs together in saran wrap then freeze them. I can count on family members wanting at least two hot dogs apiece at meal times, this way I can set out 5 sets to thaw for dinner or, if someone wants some for a lunch, they can take out a set already 'portioned' out for them.
